This difference is significant in various aspects, such as infrastructure availability, teacher quality, access to technology, and learning environment. Using a literature study method with a qualitative descriptive approach, this research collected data from various scientific journals and relevant books. The results show that schools in urban areas are generally more advanced with complete facilities and adequate teaching staff, while rural areas are still faced with infrastructure challenges, limited technology and a shortage of professional teachers. The findings emphasize the need for more inclusive and equitable policies in education development in order to create equitable access and quality of education for all the nation's children, both in cities and villages siti haerani Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Educational Studies 2025-08-31 2025-08-31 3 2 68 77 10.58218/jes.v3i2.1710 The Influence of Slang on the Indonesian Language Ability of Elementary School Students http://www.ejournal.baleliterasi.org/index.php/JEs/article/view/1733 This study aims to analyze the impact of the use of slang on the Indonesian language ability of elementary school students. Informal slang that deviates from the rules of standard language is now widely used by students in their daily lives, both in direct communication and through social media. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach that refers to various relevant literature. The results showed that the intensive use of slang can lead to a decrease in mastery of standard vocabulary, difficulty in structuring sentences according to the correct structure, and confusion in distinguishing between formal and informal language contexts. Nevertheless, students still recognize the importance of Indonesian in the context of education and official communication. To overcome this negative impact, cooperation between teachers, parents, and the environment is needed in fostering good language habits, as well as the implementation of learning strategies that emphasize the importance of correct Indonesian as a means of communication and national identity. This study investigates the extent and nature of digital marketing adoption among Stamford University graduates operating small businesses in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Using a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through a structured .questionnaire (n = 30) and in-depth semi-structured interviews (n = 10). The findings provide insight into the tools used, perceived benefits, implementation challenges, and the influence of academic background on digital marketing behavior. The study revealed that 83% of participants had adopted at least one form of digital marketing, with social media platforms—particularly Facebook (90%) and Instagram (65%)—being the most widely used. However, more advanced tools such as SEO (28%), Google Ads (20%), and email marketing (15%) were considerably underutilized. While 76% of respondents reported improved customer reach and 69% noted enhanced brand visibility, only 41% observed a significant impact on direct sales. Key challenges included limited technical skills (reported by over 60%), time constraints (45%), and a lack of understanding regarding return on investment. Though participants credited their Stamford University education with providing strong theoretical foundations, 62% acknowledged that practical digital marketing skills were largely self-taught. The research highlights a notable curriculum-practice gap and underscores the need for practical digital literacy training within business education programs. These findings contribute to the broader discourse on SME digital transformation in emerging economies and emphasize the importance of institutional and educational support in enabling effective digital marketing adoption Mohammad Fakhrul Islam Copyright (c) 2025-08-31 2025-08-31 3 2 90 104 10.58218/jes.v3i2.1760 Climate Change and Its Impact on Agricultural Productivity in the Carpathian Basin: An Econometric Assessment http://www.ejournal.baleliterasi.org/index.php/JEs/article/view/1787 This study examines the impact of climate change on agricultural productivity in the Carpathian Basin, a region spanning Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, and Ukraine. Using panel data from 2000 to 2022 and econometric modeling, the research investigates how key climate variables temperature, precipitation, and CO₂ emissions influence crop yields across varying agro-ecological contexts. Secondary data were sourced from FAOSTAT, the World Bank, the European Environment Agency, and national meteorological agencies. Results from fixed effects regression models reveal that rising temperatures significantly reduce crop yields, particularly for heat-sensitive crops like maize and sunflower, with a 1°C increase linked to an average yield decline of 0.93 tons per hectare. Conversely, a 100 mm increase in annual precipitation corresponds to a 5–7% yield improvement, though extreme rainfall or drought events can negate these benefits. While CO₂ emissions exhibit a slight fertilization effect, their interaction with high temperatures results in further yield reductions. Control variables such as fertilizer use and irrigation show mitigating effects, though their influence remains limited in the face of persistent climate stress. The study highlights the urgent need for region-specific adaptation strategies, including enhanced irrigation infrastructure, climate-resilient crops, and cross-border policy collaboration. These findings contribute to the growing literature on climate-agriculture dynamics and offer actionable insights for strengthening food security and sustainability in the Carpathian Basin. In handling them, victims of drug abuse can be treated with social service programs located in social rehabilitation centers. In their duties, social workers help provide assistance to victims related to using social services. The aim of this research is to analyze educational support through curriculum management for adolescents with narcotic dependence. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques consisted of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Huberman and Saldana model, which includes data collection, data condensation, data display, and data verification. The research results show that the implementation of social rehabilitation for victims of drug abuse carried out at the "Satria" Center Baturraden includes: assessment, intervention, evaluation, and termination. Second, the supporting factors in the social rehabilitation process are: resident self-confidence, spiritual enthusiasm, therapy and guidance for residents, family atmosphere at "Satria" Center Baturraden, adequate facilities, a supportive environment, and peer support among residents. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are: insufficient family support, dishonesty during assessment, and delayed activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses a qualitative approach, and data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data from these techniques were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman and Saldana model, employing four stages: data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and data verification. The research results indicate that the management of Scout Extracurricular Activities in Improving Non-Academic Achievements of Students at Madrasah Aliyah Raudlatul Huda Adipala has been well-planned, programmed, implemented, and evaluated through three stages: the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage, which are carried out as follows: The formulation stage of strategic extracurricular management, where a SWOT analysis is conducted. The application process of programs and activities/actions to be carried out by all units based on the principal's policies. All policies made by the principal involve all stakeholders. The evaluation of scout extracurricular management is carried out by measuring the extent to which the objectives have been achieved and how effective the management strategies implemented have been.
